Why not license skilled carpenter's independently?
Did you know that a qualified carpenter can only be licensed as a general contractor? Unlike electricians or plumbers who after passing an exam becomes licensed under their trade name. Carpenters share the general contractor's title with anyone who passes the exam. "Why?"

Persons licensed as general contractors that have never been properly trained, will have to hire skilled carpenters to perform nearly all of the technical work. What percentage of structural work is performed by the unskilled general contractor? "why"?
